Upon first meeting Rowan he seems closed off and cold. A ruthless warrior fae born and bred for battle. Rowan is however fiercly protective of those he cares about and warm and kind to his friends (with some snarky side-commentary aside towards Fenrys, Lorcan and even his own mate). As a warrior who was once under the command of Queen Maeve, he learned brutalities beyond imagination and could be cruel. However, now blood-sworn to Aelin, they've vowed to be better. Rowan is described as the most powerful Fae Male ever as his well of power goes deep and it takes a whole day for Rowan go burn through it before hitting the bottom of his power, though it's unknown if he can delve deeper like Aelin as they are Carranam.
APPEARANCE.
Rowan is described as 6'4 ft tall and broad shouldered, his entire body made out of pure muscle. Like all fae he has arched pointed ears and slightly elongated canines. Rowan is tan and has a tattoo on the side of his face that runs down past his throat underneath his clothes. Rowan has pine-green eyes and silver hair and his Fae form is a white tailed hawk.
Rowan and Aelin also share a tattoo on their backs, telling their story in the old language. He also has Gavriel's name tattooed on his arm.
