Alright, full disclosure- even the people running our site have people to report to. And sometimes those people give us some super helpful suggestions about what kinds of content we should consider posting to our site to draw more people in. Recently we were provided with some of the top Google searches in relation to our fandom. Most of them are what you'd expect- Feyre, Lucien, Tamlin, the likes. And of course: 'Night Court'.
I might be biased but I think that the Night Court is the best Court- and it seems that a lot of others do too. I mean, Sarah J. Maas herself certainly seems to favor it in her writing. It is the main setting of most of the ACOTAR series, and has even hosted those in Crescent City! Let's take a look at some of the best things the Night Court has brought into our lives as fans.
AKA Heaven.
If your FYP is anything like ours you are pretty well constantly flooded with videos and pictures from Night Court or Starfall Balls. How gorgeous are those by the way? A night where you can get together with your favourite Night Court characters and dance until you drop. It's every bookish person's dream come true, being able to step into the world that they're reading about. I sooooo want to go to one one day!
Good question! It depends on the company you're doing it. But what you can almost always expect to see is a fancy venue (the closer to a castle the better), a decorated ballroom. and a cast playing the Inner Circle of the Night Court. Aside from that there's almost always dancing. Sometimes they'll have a market set up, like the Palaces in Velaris. Sometimes there will be dinner included. Often there's some variety of show, whether that be music or some of the cast acting out scenes from ACOTAR. One thing is for sure, they are a night to remember!
There's no Court with quite as much merch
Now, a lot of why Night Court gets so much merch is that it's where most of our main cast of characters reside. That being said there's some *gorgeous* merch out there for Night Cout- whether it be for our Bat Boys, velaris, Starfall, or simply for the court itself. There's seemingly endless inspiration to draw from, and the merchants have not disappointed!
Isn't that so pretty? I'm gonna be so broke!
One of my favorite parts of being bookish is that we don't have a really solid frame of reference to our characters, so we often overcompensate trying to create one- enter Character candles. So you can literally *smell* your favorite characters or places. I'm obsessed with this concept, not gonna lie. And Night Court has a *ton* of these because once again it has quickly evolved into our main setting. The resounding consensus on the scent seems to be sea breeze and citrus, but there are little variations between each candle and eeeee you can smell the Night Court pinch me!
You gotta love the Night Court! Isn't this just like the best thing ever? Or am I just a nerd? Only time will tell.
