Alright, full disclosure- even the people running our site have people to report to. And sometimes those people give us some super helpful suggestions about what kinds of content we should consider posting to our site to draw more people in. Recently we were provided with some of the top Google searches in relation to our fandom. Most of them are what you'd expect- Feyre, Lucien, Tamlin, the likes. But nestled in the middle of those was one that threw nearly our entire staff through a loop: 'a court indictment for war crimes sarah j maas'.
Obviously most of our first reactions was to wonder what this fandom was on that that was one of our top searches. But upon Googling it ourselves (and finding that it was indeed a very popular search) we learned that the source was a meme. And you're soon going to learn that there's nothing we love more than a meme in these parts. And so in the spirit of 'a court indictment for war crimes sarah j maas', we've decided to grace all of you with your Friday share of ACOTAR memes- you're welcome.
As mentioned, 'A Court Indictment For War Crimes Sarah J Maas' ended up being an ACOTAR meme (thank god). But it wasn't just any ACOTAR meme- it was a spoof book cover. Let me show you what I mean:
Beautiful, isn't it? You could almost mistake it for a real book in the series. That's probably why it was Googled so often- people were wondering if it was real. That, and it seems to be one of the more popular ACOTAR memes out there. But it's not the only popular spoof book cover out there. Check this one out
If Sarah ever actually acts on having Helion and/or Lucien discover the whole parentage situation this fandom is going to go feral. This is comedic gold. 10/10 probably my favorite ACOTAR meme. Absolutely iconic.
Obviously when one sees artistry of that calliber, they find themself inspired- 'one' being me. So I took this concept and ran with it. Now, obviously they're no 'A Court Indictment for War Crimes Sarah J Maas', I'm not a graphic designer, but I'm pretty proud of them. Alright, I'll stop hyping myself up and get to what you're really waiting for- the memes.
They need it. So badly. And I want it for them so badly. 99% of the problems in this series stem from trauma, and it's time someone did something about it. I feel like this is the niche of humour we're going for. But if that's not obvious enough for you, boy do I have a treat!
Okay, I know it's a bit of a cheap shot. But it's Sarah's most memed line for a reason, is it not? Listen, those of us with IBS feel Feyre and her watery bowels. We get it. But it doesn't make the line any less funny.
